These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Al Weam Cargo, a Dubai-based freight forwarder, provides its services and operates alweamcargo.com. Requesting a quote, placing a shipment with us, or using the website means that you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website or engage our services.
1: Our Services
Al Weam Cargo has been arranging road freight from Dubai to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar since 2002. Our services include route-specific cargo transport, land transportation, parcel shipping, international relocation, Cargo Village services, door-to-door cargo, customs clearance, and Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipments.
Which services apply to your shipment, and the terms specific to it, are confirmed with you when your request is accepted.
2: Quotes and Booking
You can ask for a quote through the contact form on our website, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email. A quote is based on the information you provide and does not oblige us to carry your cargo until we confirm the booking with you.
Your shipment is booked only once we have agreed the service, the pickup arrangements and the delivery details with you.
3: Pricing and Payment
Rates depend on factors such as the destination, the type and volume of goods and the service selected. Quoted prices may be revised if the shipment details change or if costs outside our control change before the booking is confirmed.
The charges that apply to your shipment, what they cover and when they are payable are communicated to you at booking. Please read the quote carefully, as extra services, additional handling or unforeseen charges at the border may be billed separately where they are not included.
4: Accuracy of Shipment Information
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything you give us, including pickup and delivery addresses, recipient names and contact numbers, and the description, quantity and value of the goods.
Errors or omissions can lead to delays, extra costs, failed delivery or problems at customs. Al Weam Cargo is not responsible for consequences that result from incorrect or incomplete information supplied to us.
5: Goods We Do Not Carry
For the safety of our people, vehicles and other customers’ cargo, we do not accept hazardous or flammable goods. We may also refuse or return any item that is prohibited by law, restricted in the destination country, or not properly declared.
Each destination may apply its own limits on weight and on the kinds of goods that can be brought in. It is your responsibility to check these requirements for your shipment before handing it over.
6: Packing and Labelling
Goods should be packed in a way that suits road transport and the nature of the items. Fragile items should be clearly marked so our handlers can treat them with the right care, and boxes should be labelled to make unpacking easier.
Where packing is arranged as part of our service, this will be agreed with you in advance. We are not responsible for damage that arises from inadequate or unsuitable packing carried out by you.
7: Customs Clearance and Documentation
Our team manages customs clearance at the borders we cross and prepares the documents that the shipment needs. You must provide the paperwork and information we ask for, such as invoices, packing lists and any permits or certificates that apply to your goods.
Customs and other authorities have the final say on whether goods are cleared. Inspections, holds, additional document requests or refusal of entry are outside our control, and any related delay or cost is dealt with as agreed for your shipment or as the law provides.
8: Delivered Duty Paid Shipments
Where a shipment is arranged on a Delivered Duty Paid basis, Al Weam Cargo pays the applicable duties and taxes in advance and delivers the cargo to the recipient on that basis. The quote confirms what is included.
The accuracy of declared values, product descriptions and supporting documents remains your responsibility. If duties or taxes turn out to be higher because of incorrect or incomplete declarations, we may recover the difference from you.
9: Transit Times and Delays
Delivery timeframes given to you are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual transit time depends on factors such as distance, border processing, the complexity of the shipment, and conditions on the road. We work to deliver on schedule, but we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10: Tracking and Updates
We aim to keep you informed about the progress of your shipment through our team. You can contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email for updates, and we will share the information available to us at that time.
11: Loss, Damage and Claims
We handle every shipment with care. Where goods are lost or damaged while in our custody, our responsibility is determined by the terms agreed for your shipment and by applicable law.
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by incorrect information, undeclared or prohibited goods, inadequate packing, the nature of the goods themselves, action taken by customs or other authorities, or events outside our reasonable control. Any cover for goods in transit is confirmed at the time of booking.
Please inspect your delivery on receipt and tell us about any loss or damage as soon as possible so that we can look into it.
12: Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as you can. Whether a change is possible, and whether any charges apply, depends on how far the shipment has progressed. Conditions linked to changes or cancellation are communicated when the shipment is arranged.
13: Use of the Website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or other visitors’ use of it. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.

16: Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, and it forms part of these terms.
